The intersection of rising violence in Washington, DC and the absence of a streamlined, therapeutic response to the needs of young populations embroiled in violent energy inspired Kareem McCraney to organize Greatness Unlimited.
Kareem’s trajectory from an inner city youth, through his two decade-long experience in the penal system, to his remarkable posture in community leadership, service and activism makes him poised to design opportunities for young men and women most at risk for committing or falling victim to violence.
Kareem’s work as a Community Outreach Coordinator and a Violence Interrupter allows him to provide communities with resources that improve quality of life. He invests time, knowledge, and energy into the wellness of at-risk youth and hopes this work inspires them to think differently and act in ways that will benefit themselves, family, and community.
